Inspired by modern sculptures, eclectic design and a natural curiosity about the second lives of objects. A global audience finds its way to the digital collection of carefully selected vintage home-objects.
Marble trays, sculptural jars, geometric glassware and torso’s in an endless amount of shapes and materials — a snapshot of what’s to be found at the online deco destination ‘Orence’. Always one of a kind, the selected designs are the result of intuition and a weakness for modernism. Acknowledged design won’t be found at ‘Orence’ — Pieter Peulen consciously aims for individuality and not necessarily prestige.
The young Belgian designer inherited his love for second hand objects from his parents who took their son from a young age to numerous flea markets and auctions. Pieter Peulen has been travelling for years all over Europe from market to market, in search of extraordinary objects. After achieving a degree in interior design and furniture design, he professionally evolved into a skilled photographer and social media expert. The step to an own digital deco destination of unique and preloved designs almost came by itself. From Singapore to the United States of America, Orence adorns interiors worldwide with its one of a kind objects.
